"Brockville" The City of Thousand

IslandsThousand Islands is a chain of islets that are on both sides of the USA-Canada border in the St. Lawrence River. They emerge in the northeast of Lake Ontario. The islands stretch over 80 km downstream from Kingston to Cornwall Ontario.

The number of islands was determined using the criteria that any island must be above water level, 365 days a year, having an area greater than 900 cm ², and support at least one tree or shrub.
