Nintex Brand Guidelines
1
Introduction These guidelines introduce the Nintex brand elements and outline how
they should be used across all communications. They demonstrate how
our brand should look, sound and feel anytime we communicate to our
audiences.
Our goal is to ensure everyone who has contact with the Nintex brand
and its products has the same consistent brand experience – and that in
everything we do as an organization, we’re considered trusted and
respected experts in our field.
Nintex Brand Guidelines
2
Strategy Our brand values, brand personality and brand idea need to drive
behaviour throughout the organization: from how we deal with
colleagues at all levels to each and every one of our clients.
Our brand values describe our beliefs and our attitude; they are our
code of conduct. They define how we wish to be seen by the world.
Nintex Brand Guidelines
3
Strategy
We put powerful
collaboration tools directly
in the hands of users, to
design and manage their
own workflow in their
own way.
To give teams the
tools to reinvent the
way they work.

Our logo
This is our logo, our badge of distinction.
It can be used with
or without the tagline depending
on where it’s used. The preference
is for it to be used with the tagline.
Our corporate logo is used on formal
documents such as letterheads and
is used in small size applications.
It is also used to support the people logo
and product and service logos.
Workflow for Everyone® is our brand idea,
our reason for being. It should
be prominently displayed at all times,
unless there is a strong reason not to.
• Don’t use other slogans,
e.g. “Empowered People”
• Make sure it is associated with
the corporate brand or logo,
not the Workflow product.

when applying our logo;
• The minimum size and

to the right.
• When the logo needs to
appear below minimum size,
the flat color may be used.
Please note:
The flat color logo should only
be used in instances where the
corporate logo will reproduce poorly,
such as extremely small sizes,
promotional or embroided items.
Please contact marketing at

Nintex People logo Our Nintex ‘’X’’ graphic device
is utilised in instances where
additional engagement is required.
The people logo is used to
communicate our brand idea
– Workflow for Everyone® – by
showing empowered people.
It can be used in large scale format,
brochures, PowerPoint Covers and
should always appear supported by
the Nintex corporate logo.
Nintex Brand Guidelines
10
How to create people logosThe people logo consists of a
specially created Nintex ‘X’.
Once appropriate photography
or illustration has been selected
it’s then integrated in the ‘X’ to create
the unique, distinct and changeable
people logo.
The creation of the Nintex ‘X’ should
be made in Adobe Illustrator for best
results.
1. Select engaging imagery according to brand guidelines:
2. Place images into the 2 right hand arms of the x:
3. Crop to create an interesting and engaging composition:
Nintex Brand Guidelines
11

logos are shown to the right.

13
People logo – what not to doWhen using the logo, ensure it’s used
as it was originally designed. Do not
alter it’s color, proportion and overall
construction, with the exception of
the images in the right arm of the ‘X’.
Some common errors are
shown to the right.
Do not use colored imagery in the right arms of the logo:
Do not use more than one person per logo arm:
Do not use imagery with cheesy poses or of a farcical nature:
Do not use imagery where the subjects seem discouraged or unhappy:
Nintex Brand Guidelines
14
People at work imagesThe people at work images use
candid business environment shots,
integrated with the Nintex “X arrow”
element. The arrow is used as a visual
representation of how Nintex
products interact with and empower
end-users.
The creation of these images should
be made in Adobe Photoshop for
best results.
Nintex Brand Guidelines
15
WorkflowinfographicsWorkflow infographics can be used
in instances where complex
processes need to be visualized.
By combining icons from the icon
palette and Workflow background
images, unique informational
graphics can be created to illustrate a
specific message.
These images can be used in
brochures, data sheets, PowerPoint
and other supporting sales materials.
Nintex Brand Guidelines
16
How to create Workflow infographicsEach graphic can have it’s own unique
look by using a user-specific
combination of icons and background.
The creation of these graphics should
be made in Adobe Illustrator or
InDesign for best results.
1. Select background image from approved library.
2. Add icons from the icon palette to the lighter, background part of the image. Icons should be set to overlay or “multiply”.
Nintex Brand Guidelines
19
Nintex product and service logosAt product level, imagery used can
be quite varied but still feel part of
the Nintex ‘family’. Product logos are
always vibrant, dynamic and eye
catching. They are never to look

Business Situation: Static workflows were making it
challenging for SMA Solar Technology
to react quickly to changes and
opportunities, and the company
sought a more agile solution for
process automation.

NINTEX CASE STUDY | SMA SOLAR
Gerald Höhne, Vice President Corporate IT at SMA Solar Technology, was
thinking about his workflows. It was time to adapt the processes his
company had been using for today’s dynamic business environment.
The company wanted to achieve more flexibility, and being able to easily
create and use customized processes was going to be key to improving
productivity, and managing overhead costs.
As a global leader in development, production, and sales of PV Inverters and energy
management systems, SMA Solar Technology offers innovative key technologies. Founded
in 1981, the company reached a sales volume of €1.5 billion in 2012, and employed a staff of
over 5,000 people.
SMA conducts business in 21 countries. Its strong growth and industry leadership
necessitated the use of flexible workflow processes, so the company began looking for
a solution.
MANUAL WORKFLOW PROCESSES STIFLED PRODUCTIVITYSMA had long been using static workflow processes. The company wanted to take a more
programmatic approach to workflow creation, but it needed a very flexible system, so staff
could react quickly to changes and opportunities.
Not having a standardized procedure for projects meant that operating expenses were
being tracked manually. SMA set out to improve flexibility and productivity, and make
costs easier to manage. The company found what it was looking for in Nintex Workflow.
GAINING FLEXIBILITY QUICKLY AND EASILYSMA embraced a solution based upon Nintex Workflow for Project Server, which enables
project and portfolio managers to easily design and implement end-to-end workflows
simply and cost-effectively. Nintex Workflow for Project Server worked well for the
company’s needs, enabling staff to quickly and easily create and customize workflows.
