Amisi and the Fig Tree

By: H. Barnard

There lived

Amisi, an Egyptian

servant for cruel Esho.

Esho was beautiful and received all things free from the market.

One day a man persuaded Esho to take

some “magic”seeds.

Amisi delicately planted the seeds.

The seeds quickly sprouted into a tree and grew so tall it could touch the sky.

She decided to climb the tree. Amisi spotted a magnificent realm above the clouds.

There, and there only, was a god.Was it,yes,it was,the god of justice.

The god of justice was in possession of the legendary key of Shemei(t) .

Is what you have when you hold that key

POWER

If Amisi got hold of the, key she would be free from cruel Esho forever

BUT HOW…

When the key holderfell asleep that

night,Amisi crept into the key holder’s home and set her eyes on the key.

SHE LOCATED THE KEY IN A SMALL ROOM WITH AN EMERALD THROWN.

AMISI’S ONLY INTENTION WAS TO STEAL THE KEY BUT A LITTLE VOICE INSIDE HER HEAD SAID NOT TO. SHE CREPT OUT OF THE HOUSE AND WENT BACK TO THE DREAD OF A LIFE SHE LIVED.

The End

In conclusion’ the moral of this ancient egyptian tale is not to steel from any one even if that person has a key that can change the world.Lucky for Amisi, that key was too powerfull for a servent like her.She would gain the love of all egypt and it would plumit into the sea.
