Project summaryMain objective:
Defining, designing and boosting the building the first MILDHOMEs (zero emission, in passive house style, reliable,
recyclable and low cost) conceived to be located in an EcoGreen Village (energetically self sustainable, zero emission
with eco waste management and low water footprint )The innovative aspect?MILD HOME lies in combining the
characteristics of a nearly zero energyhouse with low costs :
How?- materials with good performance
but not so expensive;- Modularity;- Standardization;- simple but essential automation;- Do it Yourself option
Innovation is also in modeling of theEco Green Village, where solutions willbe sought for additional energy savingand environmental added value

MILD HOME supply chains promotion indifferent regions and training oftechnical assistants and market
facilitators of the project
In order to promote the supply chain for MILD HOME itwill be required to set up a verification at local level, withthe presence of suitable building suppliers (materials,components, services).
Training programme will be addressed to a pool ofarchitects/engineers in each one of the eight locationsdesigned for MILD HOME. The topics will be: design of MILDHOME and Eco Green Villages, administrative procedures, permits forbuilding, commissioning and site management.

Actions and plans to strengthen thesustainability of MILD HOME projects
The 4 municipalities, will involve stakeholders, policy makers andsupply chains to address opportunities and problems for building
MILD HOME and take necessary responsible agreements forfuture realization of an EGVillage based on MILD HOME..
At the end in at least 2 municipalities, practical concreteactivities should take place , which will lead to the authorizationof the construction of a MILD HOME or better an Eco Green Villagebased on MILD HOME ( two pilots )
