programming using GML. Using different methods and techniques to solve problems Analysing and using existing examples to improve our

game, and improve the key mechanic of the enemy. Team Collaboration – Using Trello, Dropbox , Facebook,

emails. How to use social network pages and forums for marketing

and publishing purposes. Promotion of the game

What we have learned

Timeline 8th Feb - 15th Feb: Prepare proposal , team member roles

and complete the online tutorials.

15th Feb- 8th March: Vertical Slice: Basic Functions & core mechanics. Basic sprites collection ready.

8th March - 29th March: Focus on improving enemy AI

29thMarch - 4th April: Full level complete & extra features

4th April - 29th April: Create promotional aspects (video and FB page)

29th April – 2nd May: Fix bugs and update game. Continue game promotions.

“Good, but isn't difficult enough.”

“I found that if you're moving in one direction and then change direction while holding both keys you move twice as fast so I used that to my advantage!”

“One enemy tank seemed get stuck for a bit then freed himself. Worked well. You could probably add a few more tanks and make it a wee bit tougher”

“I got killed a few times, but I don't think my base was ever really threatened so I'm not sure how much they're actually supposed to shoot at it.”
