Individual behavior depends on “convenience” Choose it because of convenience or cheap

“Important factors for choice” and “Reasons for personal preference of product” are different

Consumer attitude & practice (behavior) of HI are different Be aware and concern safety of HI

Not much affect choice and usage

Key findings – consumption pattern

EDCs (e.g., Allethrin, Chlorpirifos, Cypermethrin, DEET, Methyl parathion, Permethrin) are used in HI products.

Accurate and appropriate information for safe use is not well provided in some products.

Warning labels are not provided enough. Labeling is not standardized. It causes user confusi

on.

Key findings – market & products

Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals Stop using EDCs Set up safety standard for HI Products and their use

Labeling Label all ingredients clearly Strengthen instruction & warning labeling for safe us

e Standardize labeling system
