AnitineraryforaLaosandVietnamholidayforcouples
Planning a three week vacation on May 2017 for a young couple traveling with an infant
arriving at Luang Prabang via Bangkok and departing from Saigon in Vietnam. We are a
traveling above mid-range budget and would like to stay on quality hotels, travel on private
tours and sample local foods, can one suggest an itinerary for our vacation in Vietnam and
Laos?
Traveling with an infant could be seemingly a pain on the neck since the young couple would
need to pay more attention to the new born baby , breast them frequently and pay attention on
where they go – However, this is not the reason to lock yourself in your home country and
not to travel. Laos and Vietnam are among the most enchanted destination in South East of
Asia which brings plenty of new experiences for anyone.
Start your trip with a flight via Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand where you find plenty of
different flights and mode of transportation to Laos – Some traveler would rather opt for
flight to either Vientiane and of Luang Prabang while others take a train journey to northern
Thailand where then can get a Mekong slow boat and cross the border and travel slowly
through Laos. Options are on the table, this is depending on your time – However, we do
suggest to book a flight.
There are variety of options for accommodation to stay in Luang Prabang, the above mid-
range options provide baby bed and the facilities fir the infants – Try to include a day trip to
Mekong where you visit the magical Pak Ou cave , a city tour of Luang Prabang will unveil
the best and must see sights in Laos’s must visited city. All Laos tour packages also offer you
an early morning visit of Alms giving ceremony, just don’t miss it.
After spending a few exciting days in Laos, its time to take a short flight to Hanoi, a
charming capital city of Vietnam where most of the trips within Vietnam would begin. The
suggestion would be 4 days or more if you just want that. In 4 day you’ll visit Hanoi on a
guided tour, you can request green tourism vehicles (electric cars), that is fun, to tour the ond
quarter with. Also, don’t miss the water puppetry show, as this is the cultural show reveling
the country’s iconic farmland culture and lifestyle. An excursion for a Halong Bay cruise
experience is advised after the Hanoi stay. Halong Bay is the crown of all Vietnam’s touring.
You will get your own cabin with attached bathroom and hot water, seafood on board and
plenty of activity.
Hoi An, Hue and Danang are worth to visit if you are interested in to stay a few days on a
quality beach front resort while discovering the ancient heritage and interesting old town in
Hoi An and Hue. The peacefully atmosphere offers beyond sightseeing and you may opt for
an optional activity such as cycling on back of Vespa and or cooking class with local chef.
Your last step would be Ho Chi Minh City, the largest city of Vietnam and where you have
plenty of sights to see and day trips to go, we suggest a day to be spend in the city, then, opt
for an excursion to Mekong Delta including famous floating markets and the Cu Chi tunnels,
the underground remaining tunnels of Vietnam war.
