DESCRIPTION

The Eden Project holds 1,100 different species of plants, totaling the amount of individual plants to a whopping 16,000! Believe it or not but the amount of water used on the plants is the equivalent of 20,000 bathtubs PER DAY! Think how clean you'd be if you tried to match that.. Another comparison for you; when building the biome's that hold this magnificent creation, 85,000 tonnes of soil were used; this is the equivalent to the weight of 616 whales! The Eden Project is the largest conservatory in the world and holds Britain's only Rainforest. This massive conservatory is the same length of 35 football pitches, and also made it into the Guinness Book of World Records!
