Sat 28 Mar 2015Departure by early morning flight to Colombo. Pick up from CMB on our arrival and drive to Wilpattu NP (4 hours drive)

Sun 29 Mar 2015 Full day safari in Wilpattu NP (single entry) Meals will be arranged to the park.One of the largest & oldest nationala parks in Srilanka Wilapattu is on north west coast & dry zone.It is among the top national parks world renowned for its Leopard population.Nearly 60 lakes & tanks are found spread through Wilapattu.

Mon 30 Mar 2015 Full day safari in Wilpattu NP (single entry) Meals will be arranged to the park.31 species of Mammals found in Wilapattu,which includes Elephant,Leopard,Sloth Bear,water buffalo,sambar,spotted deer ,mongoose . Srilankan Jungle Fowl,Painted Storks, many types of Owls,eagles,garganey,pintail duck, whistling teal, white ibis are some of common birds.Monitor Lizard,crocodile,soft shelled turtle,Indian Python are most comman reptiles in park.

Tue 31 Mar 2015Early morning heading to Singharaja. (approx 6 hours drive) Afternoon our first birding session in Singharaja Forest Singharaja is last majour undisturbed rain forest in Srilanka.It is included in Unesco’s world heritage sites.Singharaja reserve is spread over 189 sq.km.More than 65% of 217 types of trees & woody climbers endemic to Srilanka’s rain forest are found in Singharaja.

Wed 1 Apr 2015 2 birding sessions in Singharaja Rain forest. Around 5.30 pm we will be heading to Mirissa. (it will be 4 hours drive) In Singharaja purple faced langurs,western gaint squirrel,wild boars, barking deer,samabar are commonaly seen.This reserve is rich in bird life with recorded 147 species.Srilanka blue Magpie,Red Faced Malkoha,Srilanka Spur fowl,trogon,orange minivate,pied shrike,srilanka white eye are few of them.

Thu 2 Apr 2015Early morning Whale watching excursion off the coast of Mirissa. Will return around 12.00. Transfer the group back to CMB for late night departure flight. (3 hours drive) Mirissa a small coastal town is famous for Whale watching cruises.Along with Blue & Humpback whales,there are chances of seeing mischievous Dolphins also.

Fri 3 Apr 2015 Early morning arrival at Mumbai.

Tour cost includes, • Transport in a Air conditioned van. It will remain with you from picking up on your arrival to the drop-off back for your departure flight. • 4 safaris (2 full day safaris) in Wilpattu National park including park entrance fees, jeep hire and all government taxes. (Jeep will not be shared with any other party) • 3 birding sessions in Singharaja MBR. • 1 Whale watching excursion off the coast of Mirissa. • Accommodation in Wilpattu will be in a individual lodge located closer to the Park entrance with A/C triple room on FB (all three meals) basis for 3nights . • Accommodation in Singharaja will be at Martin's lodge (closest place for the park entrance) double room on FB basis for 1 night. • Accommodation in Mirissa will be in Palace Mirissa, double room on HB basis.
