EDINBURGH CASTLE

Edinburgh Castle is a castle in Edinburgh, Scotland. It is built on a hill in the centre of Edinburgh. This makes it very easy to see from the main shopping streets. It is a very beautiful castle.

The castle has a military display every year, called a tattoo, where soldiers show their skills at marching and competitions, and there are brass bands and bands of bagpipes.

BEN NEVIS MOUNTAIN

In Scotland there are many places to visit for example the Ben Nevis mountain. This mountain is the highest mountain in Great Britain. Ven nevis mountain has got 1344 metres . It is near Fort William and it is part of the Three Peaks Challenge.

RIVER TAY

The Tay is a river in the southern Highlands of Scotland. It is the longest river in Scotland and the sixth-longest in the UK. It is also the largest river in the UK with a catchment of approximately two thousand square miles. River tay has got 193km. In it we can make many trips in ship.

SPORTS Sport plays a central role in Scottish culture.

Football, rugby and golf are the inportant sports in Scotland.
