OBJECTIVE:

Improve English Speaking and writing level of public school teachers in

Ethiopia to increase the quality of teaching in public schools giving to

scholars better access to high school, universities, job.

Give to women English Education to look for a job and follow their

children education, increasing their authority and raising their voice in the

society

ACTIVITIES:

English classes delivered by mother tongue international university

students:

To teachers: 3 days a week 3 hours grammar & conversation

To women: 2 days a week 3 hours introductory classes

[every Ethiopian who has attended primary school should have studied

some basis of English]

IMPACT Achieved:

600 children Destiny Academy primary school

600 street children Solomon Academy

120 children sons of HIV positive prostitutes in Fresh and

Green school

OBJECTIVE:Empower women in marketing their local production, support children education and strenghten family conditions of previous fuel wood carriers women

ACTIVITIES:Support the selling of the production through AIESEC Global Network to increase family income of the women and strenghten their family conditionThrough AIESEC volunteers, offer to their children basic english education before they can afford primary education

IMPACT Achieved:60 women involved in trainings on scarf production to better target them for international markets60 children from 3 to 6 entertained in the center by international volunteers to teach them basic english and keep them away from the street

OBJECTIVE:Offer IT and English Education to unemployed youth of Addis Ababa to give them better job opportunities

ACTIVITIES:IT classes delivered by AIESEC volunteers with the support of Microsoft guide and tutor to ensure the quality of the teachingEnglish classes delivered by AIESEC international volunteers from Uganda, English speaking countryEach participant has received a label stating his level of preparation on IT and English, certified by Microsoft

IMPACT Achieved:200 unemployed youth from Addis Ababa
