At 3143m Mt. Fan Si Pan is thehighest peak in Vietnam and the entire Indochina peninsula. This remote trek providesplenty to see and absorb, from the scattered rocks inscribed with drawings and designs ofunknown origin, to the French influenced hill retreat town of Sapa with its minoritygroups, beautiful villas and cherry forests. Our trek to the top of Mt. Fan Si Pan ischallenging and will be fully supported every step of the way by our guides, porters andcooks whos local knowledge and understanding of the different hill-tribe cultures wepass along the way will add to the uniqueness of this exhilarating journey.Tour outline:Night 1: Take a night train to Lao Cai, overnight on the trainDay 1: Lao Cai Sa Pa Fan Si Pan (long day of adventure and leisure)Day 2: Keep going up to Fan Si Pan Peak (over night in tent at 2,100 meters high)Day 3: You are on the Fan Si Pan Summit, take a view of IndochinaDay 4: Sapa Lao Cai night train to HanoiDay 5: Welcome back to HanoiTour Itinerary:Night 1: Our guide and bus pick you up atyour hotel and transfer to the train to LaoCai Station. Our guide will do everything tomake your check in easily and comfortably.Day 1: Lao Cai - Sapa, Fan Si Pan Peakconquering (B, L, D)Arrive in Lao Cai station in early morning,you are picked up and transferred to hotel inSapa. After breakfast, the bus will take youto Ton Station which belongs to Hoang LienSon natural reservation center at the height 17A Hang Dong Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, Vietnam

Stop for a picnic lunch then continue yourtrip. At 17h00 you will stop for camping, firing and stay overnight in small tents at theheight of 2,100m.Day 2: Keep going up to Fan Si Pan Summit (B, L, D)6h30 am: After breakfast, we will continue our trip to conquer Fan Si Pan Peak (3143m).10h30: You will reach the top of Fan Si Pan Peak, taking photographs and celebratingyour victory. After that, you will come back to the height of 2,800m for lunch. In theafternoon, we will follow the path down for camping, having dinner and stay overnight atthe height of 2,200 m. Bravo, you have conquered the Fan Si Pan Peak.Day 3: Fan Si Pan - Lao Cai - Hanoi (B, L, D)After breakfast, leave Fan Si Pan, you will come back to Sapa by Sin Chai road. The carwill take you from Sin Chai to Sapa at 13h00. Have lunch and take a rest, shower in Sapaand foot massage at the hotel. Have dinner. Our tour guide will take you to the train backto Hanoi. (SP4 21h00)Day 5: Hanoi arrivalArrive in Hanoi Station at around 5h30. Be picked up and transfer to your hotel. Our tourendsNotes trip:Notes on Fansipan Climbs: Climb a 3413 ASL Mountain in just two days takes someeffort, endurance and plenty of high spirit. The night will be spent in tent with toilet tentprovided. The trip is not recommended in bad weather due to safetyThe camping ground : Our camp for the evening will be in a very small clearing on themountain enclosed by bamboo. You will be provided with twin shared tent, sleeping bagand air mattress .Altitude: Fansipan is almost 3150 meter above sea level. The risk for altitude sickness isvery low.Trails conditions:One of the things which make Fansipan at challenging experience isthe lack of prepared trails. To climbFansipan we strongly recommend good walking boots or shoes. Furthermore a warmsweater and a rain jacket are necessary.Food/water: Our guide and cook will prepare delicious food on the way. We use ceramicfilters to purify our drinking water.Weather: As mentioned the trail conditions will be difficult in rainy weather. It is notrecommendable to climb Fansipan in heavy rain due to security.
