WHAT TECHNOLOGIES HAVE YOU USED?

Blogger was the main website I have used throughout my thriller coursework. It is the website in which I have explained and presented my

coursework and it is very easy to use. I had to make a google account which is my blogger account, and there are tool bars at the top of the blog post which makes it easy to use. From this, I have learned how to structure my blogs to effectively evaluate and produce my coursework to the best it

can be. I have learned how to use different medias to add to my blogs, such as YouTube clips and surveys.

BLOGGER

I have used the website YouTube quite frequently for my thriller coursework for I used YouTube clips for my research, but also I have

had to upload my own videos to prepare for my thriller and I used YouTube to present my Preliminary Task and my Finished Thriller.

I have learned how to upload my clips to YouTube by using Final Cut Express and how to upload to YouTube in HD, giving the clips a

higher quality which looks more professional.

The Sony HD handycam 8.9 was the camera which we used to film our video clips for our coursework. I have learned how to shoot

different camera angles and camera shots and how important these camera angles and shots can be when filming certain genres of

films. I now know how to shoot different angles and how to let the audience know which scenes are important by using different

camera angles.

I used Final Cut Express to edit and structure my thriller product and the other products I have made for my coursework. Then, by

using instructions, I was able to upload my thriller and other products for my coursework onto YouTube by using Final Cut

Express, which was a fairly easy method.

From using Final Cut Express, I have learned how to edit and structure my footage and how to upload to YouTube. I have also learned how to make title sequences and an ident to make my film

professional and build up suspense.

FINAL CUT EXPRESS

I used Prezi for my Evaluation Question 2, which was ‘How does your media product represent particular social groups?’ It was easy to complete

my Evaluation Question 2 by using this website and there were very interesting designs to make my question more unique and fascinating.

I learned how to structure my writing into different categories by using Prezi, therefore meaning I had more to write about each different aspect

of my evaluation question 2.

PREZI

I have used Powtoon, SpicyNodes, surveymonkey, slideshare and glogster to present some of my evaluation questions. Powtoon was one of my favourite websites to use, for it was very easy to use and it included different techniques which fit into what I was explaining about my first evaluation question. SpicyNodes was used for my third evaluation question, and it was intriguing to use for you could add different compartments to the first compartment, and so I could add on separate explanations to my questions. Surveymonkey was used for my target audience research. By using

this I was able to find out which age and gender my target audience is, and how my target audience watches films, which would help for when I want to distribute my media product. I have used slideshare to present this evaluation question, question six. This was fairly easy to use for I used Microsoft PowerPoint to create it and then I uploaded it to slideshare, which I could then

put on to my blogger. Glogster was used to present my evaluation question four. It was an interesting website for it allowed you to create an interesting wall to present your ideas, which

included different images, such as the wall I used included a robot, a TV and post it notes, which I then used to present my explanations.
