70,000 tons of steel used so far in
construction, only 2 tons = waste.
1000x reduction in planned wastage
Curved curtain wall has over 19,000
glass panels - no two alike.
Of 20,000 square meters of panels
installed to date, not one has been
sent back because it was the wrong
size or shape or assigned to the
wrong location.

By modeling various options and
conducting wind-tunnel tests,
the design team discovered that
a 120-degree twist and
55% Taper combination reduced
wind loads by 24% and material cost by $58 million.

US$1.045 billion Presidio Parkway in San Francisco.
The project is inherently highly sensitive due to running
through Presidio national park, and nearby property values
Project construction will cause ramp closures and traffic
detours for several years
"By using Autodesk BIM solutions, we were able to construct
this project virtually, before it was built in the real world,“
Allowing interest groups to see the impact of the construction
Allowing for better sequencing of the project to limit disruptions and cost
wastage
