Mesh Topology (Industry First)
HP E3800 Switches
Meshed Stacking• Two to five switches may be stacked using mesh topologies• In mesh topologies, every switch in the stack is connected to every other switch.
Hence, with four stacking ports on the Stacking Module, a maximum of five switches can be meshed together
• Mesh topologies provide the most resiliency to stacking failures because, communications can be rerouted through multiple paths
