Reptiles are cold-blooded vertebrates.

They breathe using their pulmonary system.

Most are carnivourse, they hunt for mammals like birds,insects.

But some are herbivourse like iguanas.

CROCODILES Species occur in both saltwater and freshwater habitats. Crocodiles are

usually omnivourse, feeding on invertebrates

like fishes,birds.

ALLIGATORS Alligators are large

aquatic reptiles with scaly skins, four feet, and a long snout with sharp

teeth.

Most snakes live on the ground, but some are live in holes,on the trees, or in the

water; one group is exclusively marine. When

it’s in the average temperature of climates they hibernate. Snakes

range in length from about 10 cm to over 9 m.

LIZARDS

There are over 3,000 lizard.

They range in size from species under 6.4cm long to 3m.

Lizards typically have four legs with five toes on each foot

They are often fast runners, some can move to the speeds of over 24 km per hr.

Any of reptiles that can live in fresh water, salt

water or on land and have a hard shell covering their

bodies are turtles. Some turtles can grow quite

large, weighing over 1,000 pounds.

Tortoise is a common name for a terrestrial turtle. Tortises live in warm places of all limits except in Australia. They walk on land, and nearly all have high-domed shells.
