Goals:

目的 :

Help you adjust to life in America

幫助你適應在美國的生活Help you explore options for life beyond high school

與導師一同探索高中後的生活，比如昇學、申請獎學金、就業等Develop meaningful relationships with mentors

與導師建立有意義的關係

Objectives:

目标Four hours of one-on-one mentor time per month

一個月有四個小時的一對一導師輔助One field trip per month

一個月一次郊遊

Your prefect mentor 你的完美導師Who do you want your mentor to be?

你希望你的導師是怎樣的？

A Mentor is not…導師不是…• A parent/legal guardian

家人 / 監護人Social worker

社工• A psychologist

心理輔導員• An ATM

自動取款機

Boundaries界限• Report/don’t allow inappropriate behaviors

報告不當行為• Don’t meet in any non-public location, or at odd hours

不要與導師在任何非公共場所會面。也不要在太早或太晚的時間約定見面。

• Don’t initiate/respond to contact that is unplanned

在非約定時間內不要主動聯繫導師或響應導師的任何聯繫

• Tell us if your mentor makes your feel uncomfortable!

如果你的導師令你感到不安，請及時向我們報告 !

A Mentee should…導員應該…• Show up on time

守時• Be responsive to mentor’s questions or requests

對導師的問題或要求作出適當回應• Respect your mentor and others in the program

尊重你的導師和其他導員• Ask for help if needed
