How to get listed in Google Places, Yahoo! Local Listings and Bing Listing Center?

To create your Google Maps listing we follow these easy directions:

Step-1

• Navigate to http://www.google.com/local/add/businessCenter• In order to login to Google Places, you need a Google account; furthermore the service

is free of charge.• Click "Add New Listing"

Step-2

• In this step we will enter your Company/Organization name, Street Address, City, State, ZIP, Phone, Email address, Website address and Description.

Step-3

• In this step we will "Add" or "Claim" your listing. If Google already has a listing for your business, then we will have the option claiming the current listing or adding the listing which we just entered.

• To claim the new listing, we click on "Claim" and follow the instructions. Google will verify your listing by calling the phone number you entered. Answer the phone and type

Yahoo Local Listing service offers two plans, the Basic Listing which is free of charge and the Enhanced Listing which is the paid one ($9.95 per Month). The service is supported only if a yahoo country-sub domain exists. For example for a listing in CANADA, you should visit: http://ca.local.yahoo.com/

Yahoo! Local's "Enhanced Listing" is keyword optimization dependant, meaning that if your listing information and website are optimized properly and you have keyword-optimized in-bound links pointing to your website then you may rank high on Yahoo! Local by just using the "Enhanced Listing" for just $9.95 per month! Not a bad deal!

BING Local Listings: Bing’s local listing is supported by Yellowpages.com and the submission is free.

How to Promote the Listing to Get to the Top of the List?

To appear in the Google Maps search results, Google gathers business information from various websites (Internet Yellow Pages [IYP] directories, and other sources). Even though you can easily enter your business information into the Google Local Business Center for free, but to get listed at the top of the list you'll need to optimize.

Google Maps is partnered with Verizon and Yahoo! Local is partnered with AT&T. Competitive research can help you determine which local databases are helping your competitors get higher listings than you on Google Maps (or Yahoo! Local).

Terms & Conditions1. Minimum 3 months contract commitment is required which can be extended as per

requirements and at least one month notice to terminate the contract2. Advance payment for each month's billing cycle via PayPal.com and you can pay either

through your credit card or paypal account.

• Any transaction fee involved in sending money to the contractor paypal account would be borne by the client.

• Normal office hours (flexible timing to be determined as per client needs under mutual consent)

• 5 days a week (work during weekends/holidays* will attract additional charge under mutual consent)

Notes:

• The monthly charges per resource are inclusive of project manager supervision, technical support, infrastructure cost and local taxes. There are no other additional hidden charges involved and no conditions applied.

• Any leaves (exclusive of Saturday, Sunday and other company holidays**) will be covered by working extra hours during the month or successive months without any additional cost
