• Thanks for the test. For some this test has been quite a challenge - and
• we (the SED) have a legal obligation to certify that you are computer
• literate. This test tries attempts to gauge users literacy. If you'd
• like to suggest a better computer literacy test, please do so by all means.

• Sorry, didn't mean to sound cross. I'm not. In fact I'm quite pleased
• about your feedback and used it as an example in today's lecture of a
• student engaging and reflecting on their learning. The font question was
• really about noting the difference between a serif and sans serif font.
• It's a useful thing to know and notice the difference.
• Cheers• Derek
• PS You are welcome to use these conversations in your Portfolio.

Dear Substitute Teacher
Thank you for managing my class. The information that you required to teach can be found in my battling folder, under following heading.Class Management – My classroom rules, class behavior chart and seating planClass work – A selection of emergency work sheetsAt the end of the lesson, please collect their work and hand their worksheets to me. I’ll mark their work and return it to them, so that they can improve their work, based upon my comments.

Battling folder
Project Reflections• The Process: it was a long
project but on my own opinion, it is quite necessary. Often teacher are absent and therefore battling folders are a must
• The Product: although the product was useful, I am not sure how practical is it in reality. Most schools do not have computers, therefore I will go for the “paper” option.
