Tips & TricksPC settingsFind the contents of the Control Panel in the Settings menu in the Charms Bar to adjust your screen’s background, colors, how notifications and Windows 8 built-in search work, the names of the attached devices, and your specific synchronization settings.

Tips & TricksReset your PCWhen something has gone wrong, click on the General tab in the PC settings & select Refresh. This returns your system to the factory-default settings, but it keeps your User files.

Or, you can remove entering your password each time you boot

Password lock your system when you are away

Set up passwords for files and directories

Hit Windows Key + R and type “netplwiz” into the Run window’s field and hit enter. Uncheck “Users must enter a user name and password

to use this computer”

“App History” tab looks at how many resources your apps use

Performance tab looks at the last 60 seconds of your system’s CPU, Memory, Disk or Network user

Type “Task Manager” in Metro & click “More Details”

Type: shutdown.exe –s –t 00 for its location

In Desktop mode, right-click & create a new shortcut
