let’s-have-a-beer, or whatever else.

Is Blogging Really A Strictly Online Thing?
Most of the things happen online…
but
the basic offline world’s principles of building relationships and/or
growing your venture/business still apply.
Before the Event1. Set a goal, and create a game plan.
Find a mentor, Seek employment , Grow a business, Make new friends
2. Update your online persona.
3. Start connecting.
Tip: Post that you are going to the event and tag the organizers and
people you look forward to connecting with.
A game plan will determine when you arrive, how long to stay, how to dress, and what to say to everyone you meet.
During the Event
1. Connect yourself – Get to the event early so that you can connect with the organizers of the event.
2. Connect others – Connect people to each other as quickly as possible.
3. Take photos!
After the Event
1. Follow up with context. The best time to follow up is within 24hrs of the event.
2. Create a blog post about the event, which will include the photos you took and the people you met.
Final Words…
“Networking is simply the cultivating of mutually
beneficial, give and take, win-win relationships. It works best,
however, when emphasizing the 'give' part.”
-– Bob Burg, Author and Speaker
