Overview of RADARsRadars are types of Sensors used for the patrolling of one’s proximity . This idea has been further extended to the Modern day SDRS and then the possible future “Macro SDRS”.

Mixing of two different frequencies to form a different new frequency is called “Heterodyning”

Pre-attack procedure:

• Detection of ‘Host frequency’ and ‘foe frequency’.

• Communication with Control Station.• Warning to ‘foe frequency’, if detected.• Launchers are provided with suitable

information and are in synchronization with CS and Radar unit.

Points to be noted:

• All the wireless comm. made is same as that of satellite/mobile comm.

• Linking of two or more Control Stations(C.S) is made through OFC due to its large bandwidth and efficiency.

• As OFCs are laid underground, they are protected against damage due to attacks.
