DESCRIPTION
HummingWave specializes in building software and services around mobile technologies. Mobile apps run on devices with a small phone form factor but also need to adapt to the larger screens of tablets. Users expect apps to have usability themes and ingrained design cues that work well on these form factors. Users have also come to expect apps that behave in a form that is native to the iOS, Android and any other mobile platform they run on. People are used to directly manipulating objects on the screen instead of using the arrow keys, page keys, mouse or other external controls. We develop aesthetically pleasing and usable apps.

We build professional looking apps on native iOS and Android platforms. We have deep expertise in creating well-engineered native iOS and android apps. Apps are technically optimized to be responsive and fit into the low memory and
limited processor power profiles.
We believe that the next wave in information technology is that of mobile devices and related technologies in wearable computing. Mobile and wearable devices take the form of mobile phones, tablets, eBook readers, health and fitness monitoring devices like Fitbit, Nike+ FuelBand and Basis, the in-development Google Glass, mobile connected watches from Samsung and Sony and the much-rumoured iWatch being developed by Apple.

Amit holds a bachelors degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangalore University and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
Before co-founding HummingWave Technologies, Amit worked in the Information Technology industry for 21 years in leadership positions with Infosys, Mindtree and emids Technologies.
