In particular, text messaging or SMS is increasingly enabling business communication around the world to more effectively reach customers, employees and partners. However, managing the infrastructure and cost associated with robust and scalable messaging such as SMS gateways, operator connectivity, and contingency planning poses a real challenge to enterprise IT organizations. Eocean’s carrier-hardened solution allows for the delivery of enterprise class text messages across multiple communication channels - and ensures accurate delivery of millions of messages to all stakeholders. Solution Overview Eocean’s Enterprise Messaging Solutions consists of the following components. Eocean operates carrier grade messaging gateways, which manage reliable, scalable and secure delivery of text messages to mobile phones or other hand held devices. Redundant connections with mobile operators and IP service providers allow channel failover and prevent network gridlock. Eocean’'s Mobile Messaging Gateway connects directly with SMSC (Short message service center) of all five mobile operators and dynamically routes SMS messages over multiple networks.

Advanced queuing and load management technology enables Eocean to guarantee delivery and receipt of huge volumes of inbound and outbound messages in real time. Eocean’s Mobile Messaging Server, a managed version of its secure mobile gateway is suited for applications that require direct operator connectivity or deeper integration with enterprise systems. Eocean'’s Messaging Manager - Highly scalable, enterprise grade messaging application that manages SMS communication and provides real-time collaboration to employees and customers on the move. The platform performs routing, message switching, channel failover, message scheduling and MNP resolution.
