DESCRIPTION

Bunch of examples from the interwebs and some insight into how this evolution is shaping the politics in Iceland. The photos from the riot refer to a facebook group themed Orange that changed the protest in 24 hours. People with orange clothing made a barrier between police and violent protesters and by doing so made the whole thing much more effective.

Crowdsourcing is a neologistic portmanteau of "crowd" and "outsourcing" for the act of outsourcing tasks, traditionally performed by an employee or contractor, to a large group of people or community (a crowd), through an open call.
