What do I need?

Multimedia projects are formed of multiple elements.

It is necessary to create and convert multimedia elements in order to develop a multimedia project.

Multimedia needs a state-of-art equipment for its successful development

Do I need more material?

For software, you will need programs such as:

Graphic Software: Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Fireworks

Audio Editing Software: Cool Edit, Macromedia Sound Edit 16

Video Software: Movieshop, Moviecleaner

What kind of projects can I develop with

Multimedia?

It would be better to start with small projects, in that matter

there will be feedback. An example of it

is a Photo Album stored in a CD-ROM or posted in a website.

Is it expensive to afford a multimedia project?

It is not necessary to purchase all

these hardware equipment for

multimedia, it could be borrowed

from relatives, friends and even

schools and universities.

Also to develop the project, on

internet could be used some

online programs under the name

of "Freeware" or "Shareware"

In order to accomplish a multimedia project, it should be

Digitizing Elements

It is important to be organized with all the

material required for the project. It would be

better to store all the information in a folder.

Feedback is important, always keep some notes

to improve your material.

Digitizing Images

This procedure could be done with the internet

browser, scanner, CD-ROM and so forth.

It is important on this procedure to edit and scan

perfectly the images to avoid low definition

images.

Digitizing Sound

For multimedia projects, there are three

important phases to accomplish: Music, Narration

and Sound effects

At the moment of the editing is important to

match all the tracks to have an excellent result.

Digitizing Video

The quality of the recording is really important and

it depends from camera device itself.

Also to catch the audience's attention is important

to develop visual effects on it.
