The communication technology we are using today are complex, for example a smartphone that can be used to watch movie, browse the web, and play games. Taking pictures then instantly posting it in a social media cite like Facebook or Instagram. Buying a TV that can detect your every emotion, and tell the mood you are on and play the movie that suit your mood. The kind of technology is getting more and more popular, wonder how it will improve 10 years from now?

• Billions of people post there pictures and news feed on Facebook and Instagram each second of each day. According to the Washington post 40 billion photos have been posted on Instagram daily. (Tsukayama, H) But they have only been around for 3 years. According to Marketing Land, a person can send up to 100k newsfeed per day while Facebook wasn’t of existence 9 years ago. (McGee, M. )

• Cell phones has come a long way since it’s invention in 1973. According to tweet Philadelphia, mobile phones lead the way in growth over PC’s and other ways of using the web. Now a days not only we can text and call we can also access the web. But the bigger innovation of the mobile phone is yet to come

I think Smartphone users will accept the innovation of there phone because of the theory of diffusions of innovations. Here are 5 steps decision making process to explain how

1.Knowledge – in 10 years smartphones will have the same knowledge as human being. It will become like a user’s additional pocket brain.

2.Persuasion - the companies of smartphones will have to strongly persuade users to accept the changes that will come with their devices. And that will have no effects

3.Accept or Reject- Smartphone users will have to accept or reject the idea of their device being as smart as they are.

4.Implementation- if accepted, users will be excited to use their new device.

5.Confirmation- when companies see that users are adopting to their devices, they will produce more.

• With the rate of smartphone’s innovation today, I believe in 2023 they will be as smart as humans. They will be like siri but 10 times better. For example one of it’s abilities will be to recognize when it’s owner is ill, will recognize the Symptom, and recommend the medication to take that symptom. It will be up to the phone company to persuade their consumers to accept this innovation. When accepted people will start depending on this technology for their life.

• Television was created on September 7, 1927 by Philo Taylor Farnsworth. (Buskirk, E.) when it was only a black and white box that show pictures of really low resolutions

• Today all the television are flat screen, most can connect to the internet, and some are even 3 definitions.

• The change of television innovation have been humongous since 1927 until know, but there is more yet to come.

That way everyone have there own personal TV's. this innovation is what will impact television adoption to elevate from late majority to Laggards. While each families have a majority of 2 TV’s per house, it will increase to everyone having their owns portable televisions.
