format has constantly updated economic, statistical and demographic databases on the changes in businesses, the evolution of the population and the economic phenomena

this availability of resources allows our institute to designing field surveys, questionnaires, sampling plans in a way consistent with the changes in reality to be represented

moreover, every three months format releases the results of OCF (FormatConjunctureObservatory), a format-owned survey on the italian companies that analyzes the deviations of the main indicators that measure the health of businesses (trust, income, employment, late payments, credit requirements, etc...)

the capacity of processing large volumes of data and representing phenomena are ensured by the use of the most updated statisticalapplications supplied by SPSS company.

Delivery of the results

The results of format surveys are transferred to customers through the following modes:

database with the micro data – produced on computer support (format in access, excel, or spss) and transmitted via mail or dvd

basic report – the paper document will be divided into the following sections: a) comprehensive briefing document about the characteristics, purpose and the methodology adopted for carrying out the survey (technical report); b) description of the survey sample; c) questionnaire adopted; d) statistics

research report– supplied on computer support (power point format) it contains the results of the research

Pierluigi Ascani - ChairmanPhilosopher. In 1992 he founded Format, where he holds thepositions of Chairman and Scientific Director. He boasts a longexperience in the field of marketing research, customer satisfactionresearch as well as in the social and political studies. From 2008 to2010 he taught Methodology of the Social and Political Research atthe Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Rome La Sapienza.

Maurizio Pisacane – Field research managerPsychologist. He is working in format since 1998. With over 12 yearsexperience in the performance of field researches, he organizes andsupervise data collection. He is also the coordinator and trainer tointerviewers, external suppliers and professionals engaged in therealization of the different research projects.

Barbara Di Cosimo - Project LeaderEconomist. She works in Format since 2007. She is in charge of theresearch planning and coordination, with a particular experienceconcerning qualitative studies and international researches.

Gaia Petrucci - Project LeaderSociologist. She works in Format since 2006. She is in charge of theresearch planning and coordination, with a particular experienceconcerning customer satisfaction surveys and quantitative studiesabout social subjects.

Cinzia Katja Vitelli – Edp AnalystPsychologist. She works in Format since 1998 and boasts over 12years experience in performing field analyses. She takes care of dataanalysis and is an expert in the planning, development andmaintenance of computer platforms for the CATI, CAPI and CAWIdata collection.

Livia Cacciapuoti – AdministrationShe works in Format since 1999 and manages the administrative and

account processes.

Daniele Serio - Project leaderStatistician. He works in Format since 2008. He is in charge of theresearch planning and coordination, particularly concerningquantitative studies on economic subjects.

Enrica Ramaglia – Personnel trainerPsychologist. Expert in Psychological Assessment. She deals with theselection and training of interns and trainees in the organization ofthe Research Institute.
