Scenario 1 – Publishing Assets to ATG

1. Users upload rich media to UCM MediaBank

2. External agencies can collaborate on designs

4. Assets are published to ATG via REST Services

5. Merchandisers use ATG to assign assets to pages

6. ATG supplies the complete page to end users

Scenario 1 - Key Benefits

Assets in MediaBank benefit from the content management facilities such as renditioning, searching and efficient storage.

MediaBank users can collaborate internally and with third parties to create and approve assets

Image renditions will be automatically created depending on the asset type. MediaBank will publish all renditions to ATG

MediaBank will publish images to the file system for use by ATG or a Content Delivery Network

ATG is responsible for building pages and ATG users select media as usual

1. ATG Merchandisers viewing a page can click on a “Manage Content” link

2. A template page is opened in WebCenter

3. Users select assets from MediaBank

4. Users contribute rich content via WebCenter

5. Page content is previewed in WebCenter

6. Content is published to a shared file system

7. Page is reviewed and published using ATG
