~Painting ball & use glue to fix together~ Wednesday 11/05/11

Today I finished painting balls. I changed

plan little bit. I was going to make light

blue for balls. But when I finished making

light blue and paint it. It was not match

with the colors were red, yellow, blue and

light green. Each colors for four balls.

When I finished paint four yellow balls,

yellow color is too light. So I needed to

paint it again. I used pliers to paint. I was

just holding the ball with my hand and

paint it. But Mr. Anderson saw my hand

and I was paint on my hand, so he gave

me the pliers to paint the balls. It was

useful to paint the balls. If I finish put 16

dowels in holes. I will check if the balls

are too many or ok. So I need to check.

After painting I used glue to put my toy

together, and I used wooden hammer to

squeeze it. I put glue into the hole. I just

finished one dowel to stick the hole

together. So NEXT class will be finishing

stick dowels into the hole, and use

wooden hammer to squeeze it. It is only

for pig’s face. I haven’t stick the dowels to

the pig’s back. Next week, I will stick

dowels to the pig’s back.

Emotion- I felt anxious, because I am

scared of that if the balls colors are not

matching with pig’s face, back and dowels

Paint a ball with red color

Paint a ball with light green color

Paint a ball with yellow color

Use glue and wooden hummer to stick a dowel

color. I think red and light green will match with pig’s face, back and

dowels color. So if the any colors are not matching with my toy, I will

not put that ball.

Today I forgot to put an apron again. And especially I was painting, so

I shouldn’t forget to put the apron. Also I used pliers to paint the balls.

The balls are round and small, so it’s hard to hold. Also I got dirty with

my hand. So I didn’t get dirty, after I used pliers.
