resources management on the island of Kea
• a pilot rainwater collection system
in a branch on Kea Island
• a traditional Cycladic water saving
technique
• rainwater is collected from the
building’s flat roof
• stored in a reservoir located
outside the building
• pumped into the WC, where most
of the water is consumed
Our achievements
EMAS certification
• In 2011 the Bank joined the European EMAS Register and was certified with ISO 14001.
• The EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) is a voluntary environmental management tool for companies to evaluate, report and improve their environmental performance.
• Is the only Bank in Greece certified under EMAS for all the
branches and all the
administration buildings.
