Taegeuk 7 MOUNTAIN 2nd Kup Red BeltSymbolizes the "Kan" which represents the mountain, one of the most majestic symbols of our environment. Mountains express stability, persistence, wisdom, strength and soundness. Taegeuk Chil Jang requires the expression of all of these characteristics, from the powerful front fighting stances to the seemingly unstable tiger and cross stances. This form requires physical and mental application, as well as strength in determination. The 25 movements in this poomse are to be performed with the feeling of mountains: POWERFUL and MAJESTIC.
