U1 – on jump ball will be closer to the centre line. Lead - No rotation in transition – wait for new T to be in position to get to C when you rotate, can’t leave an empty space in new C position.

Lead – Foul call on opposite side in frontcourt and play will be going from backcourt to frontcourt – no long switch. Administer foul call and return to be the Trail in the back court.

Lead – Will box in on throw ins on front court end line between 3 point line to 3point as in the past.  On throw ins on frontcourt end line outside the 3 point line the official will box out (Ass to the glass). Centre - Play starts in the C’s primary or goes to the basket from C’s side, C will stay engaged with the play until the end of action (eg. Block / Charge on C side – not L’s primary call across paint) Trail - Will now raise their hand and chop in time in the front court when the Lead is handling a throw in.  The Lead continues to raise their arm and chop in time as before in this situation.

 14 Second shot clock info:Now that the new 14 second shot clock rule is going to be in effect I want to make sure we are all on the same page on a couple of items. 1.       When a field goal attempt hits the rim on a shot the shot clock (SC) will reset to 14.  If the offense controls a rebound the SC will start from 14.  If the defense controls the rebound it is reset to 24.  2.       Free throws – before the last or only personal foul free throw the shot clock will be reset to 14.3.       When a field goal attempt hits the rim on a shot and the ball is last touched (not controlled) by the defense and then goes out of bounds the SC would be reset to 14 regardless of whether the throw-in shall be in the frontcourt or in the backcourt.4.       When a field goal attempt hits the rim on a shot and then a held ball is called and the arrow favors the offense the clock will be reset to 14 prior to the throw in.
