MIDWEST DREAM SQUAD DESCRIPTION- Who is the Midwest Dream Squad?
We are a summer professional basketball
team developed of current professional &
former collegiate basketball standouts first
assembled to compete in TBT 2015 also
known as “The Basketball Tournament” for 1
Million Dollars.
Our team is made up of predominantly Midwestern natives from Illinois, Indiana and Ohio
brought together by General Manger Dijon Knight.
TBT 2015: We had a successful run in TBT
2015. We won our first 3 games and made it
to the “Super 17” or top 17 out of the 97
teams that qualified and were selected by the
TBT committee to compete in the tournament
last summer.
We beat group of Wisconsin Badgers alumni
(Bad Boys) and then an older batch from the
same state, which included two former NBA players (Sconnie Legends) to make it to the “Super
17”.
We then went on to play the 2014 TBT Champions (Notre Dame Fighting Alumni) in a thrilling
game live on national TV ESPNU! We took the defending champions down to the wire and lost
on a last second shot at the buzzer for a final score of 79-77. This was one of the most exciting
games and finishes of the entire tournament and replayed on ESPN for the several weeks
following the game. We accomplished all that without one single team practice and only 7
players the first two games.
TBT 2016: Right now we are already underway
for this summer’s tournament starting in July.
We have a solid core group of returning players
that helped us succeed in TBT 2015 while also
making some key additions to the roster and
coaching staff bringing in more basketball
professional experience and talent overall.

Team Sponsor Opportunities
So one general rule regarding the TBT Event is any visual inventory and in particular, any TV-visible inventory can't be sold. So warm-up shirts, ad jersey placements, and signage in venue are not in play for sponsorship on a team level. HOWEVER, on the contrary anything not TV-visible, like placement on our team page on the TBT website, any appearances preformed by individual teams, any mentions in articles or posts that the TBT committee does or that are written about any individual team can include our sponsor's name. There for our sponsorship proposal is not based on exposure, or at least exposure alone, as we as participants and the TBT Committee need to restrict it per our ESPN agreement. With that said I Dijon Knight, acting as team General Manager have budgeted a total of $75,000.00 of the 2 Million winnings for potential sponsors to collect as a return on their investment for providing $x funding upfront and get $x portion of the winnings if we win the 2 million. Sponsor Packages: Gold – Donations of $5,000 – $10,000 Silver – Donations of $1,000 – $4,000 Bronze – Donations of $500 - $1000 All investors providing funding upfront this is the breakdown for your financial return: $5,000 funding upfront = $35,000 portion of the winnings given we win the 2 million. $4,000 funding upfront = $20,000 portion of the winnings given we win the 2 million. $1,000 funding upfront = $10,000 portion of the winnings given we win the 2 million. $500.00 funding upfront = $5,000 portion of the winnings given we win the 2 million.
