We are from Saint-Petersburg and we studying in the school №197. We want to tell about the greatest sportsman Anton Sikharulidze, because he is a very good figure-skater and we love this kind of

sport.

Anton Sikharulidze Tarielevich was born in Leningrad on 25th of October

1976th year and lived in St. Petersburg. He is a renowned master in pair

skating on ice. Anton has the award-winnings and he is a honored athlete for many years. He brought a victory

for Russia in international competitions at various levels.

From an early age Anton became interested in skating on the ice. Together with Maria Petrova have prepared a program with which twice won the world junior championship level .

Later, speaking with Elena Berezhnaya in pair, won at the 2002 Olympics.

Twice Anton Sikharulidze and Elena Berezhnaya was remained unmatched

pair at the World Championships , European Championships. A couple

was led to the success of the championship by well-known coach

Tamara Moskvina.

At the end of his sports career Anton toured a few years in America with the show «Stars on Ice», it was during

the 2002-2006 years. Then, in connection with the termination of the contract Anton returned to his home to St. Petersburg. He worked in the projects of the First

Channel , " Ice Age ", " Stars on Ice", "Ice and Fire ". Gradually, his work loses connection with figure-skating and sports. Activity Sikharulidze was gradually moving

into politics and business.
