LIFE AND WORLD

World is full of good and bad things. It is a good mixture of every tastes in life. Many pleasant tastes. Many unpleasant tastes.Pleasing tastes are not always good.So how to identify good or bad?

This can be done only by SPIRITUALITY.

Page 4: Understanding christianity

SPIRITUALITY

What is spirituality?Nothing! But attaining the meaning of life.Life has its meaning only when we

think of GOD.

Page 5: Understanding christianity

GOD

Who is GOD?Is He a Leader?Is He a Creator?Is He a Monitor?Is He a Destroyer?

Page 6: Understanding christianity

SUPERNATURAL FORCE

Some see GOD as followsG GeneratesO ObservesD DestroysGOD is a supernatural force which

Generates, Observes, Destroys life.

Page 7: Understanding christianity

EVIL FORCE

When GOD has the power to do all these things ,why wrong things happen?

Even GOD has His enemy - a evil force. He cannot attack GOD directly so he

attacks the humans , created by GOD.

Page 8: Understanding christianity

o Evil force leads man through wrong ways thereby leading them to sins.

o That is……he separates humans from GOD

o Thus SIN was born in this world.

Page 9: Understanding christianity

SINSIN

Sin is nothing but doing wrong against the WILL OF GOD.

Even not obeying our parentsnot doing our dutieswasting resourcesdenying love to others –are sin.

Page 10: Understanding christianity

Not that murder is a large sin, and lie is a small sin. It is like ALL OR NONE phenomenon. In the eyes of GOD every thing is sin.

Page 11: Understanding christianity

ATHEIST VS NON-ATHEIST

Atheist is a person who do not worry about the sin he does.

Non-atheist is a person who worries about the sin he does.

When a person thinks wrong doings as sin only will correctThose who believe in GOD only will

worry about their mistakes.

Page 12: Understanding christianity

WHO IS GOD?

GOD is a mixture of both LAW AND LOVE

GOD in every religion has told that if you do sin you will be punished .

This is true in every religion.

Page 13: Understanding christianity

RELIGION

We know GOD ,We know SPIRITUALITY.Then What is RELIGION?Man after attaining spirituality , seeks GOD.Some searched HIM as a special

entity, thus religion was born.

Page 14: Understanding christianity

RELIGION-A SUMMARY

Religion is made by individuals.People in India saw GOD in the form of HINDUISM.ISRAEL as JUDAISM.ARAB countries as ISLAMISM.So different people in different places follow different religion

Page 15: Understanding christianity

GOD’S LAW

GOD’S law is nothing else than to LOVE HIM & LOVE OTHERS.But GOD’S law is very stubborn.SINPUNISHMENT.NO SINBLESSING.

Page 16: Understanding christianity

RELIGIOUS LAWS

Religions are made by man and GOD is one in every religion. For example in Christianity attending churches ,sermons are religious laws .There is no wrong on bounding to the religious laws, but don’t forget about the GOD’S law

Page 17: Understanding christianity

As man is bound to make mistakes he made many sins. But as he was also attached to GOD , he went to GOD and cried“LORD I have sinned against you, please forgive me”This is how we plead anyone when we do mistakes

Page 18: Understanding christianity

GOD is made of love and law in equal proportions. The law in GOD tells to punish man , but the love on GOD tells-”he has repented so please forgive him”

Page 19: Understanding christianity

GOD then thought “If I punish the man , I am not GOD OF LOVE”“But I am, both GOD OF LOVE & LAW”.So HE decided, “I will forgive you”.And HE said that there must be a remedy for the sin by man.

Page 20: Understanding christianity

GOD came to a conclusion of “BEARING THE MAN’S SIN”IT IS REALLY STRANGE that All the religions are talking about SIN, REPENDANCE and FORGIVENESS.Even Hinduism believe in sin and repentance

Page 21: Understanding christianity

• There is logic in Hindus and other religions –even Judaism that is slaying animals (mostly LAMB) for the remedy of sin.

• So they believed that sin can be forgiven when a innocent blood is shed.

Page 22: Understanding christianity

• Why to choose a lamb?• Lamb Is the purest of all animals.• It is very innocent.• It is very much fragile.• This is told by all religions.• Some are still practising.

Page 23: Understanding christianity

Here comes the point of knowledge

“God become the innocent lamb to shed His blood according to the law” He shed His blood to attain forgiveness to man

Page 24: Understanding christianity

• All blessing by God is conditional• It is good thing that forgiveness is also

conditional by God• What He says is to repent our sins and

leave it then you are forgiven• What Christians believe is that God

was slain for our sin, and in earth His name is JESUS

Page 25: Understanding christianity

CHRISTIANITY

• It is not to be a religion but today it is a religion

• CHRIST means the one who saves you from sin, a common word.

• Every religion states that a man will bear all the sin

Page 26: Understanding christianity

• Christ was born true• His birth made history true• He was crucified true• These are historical evidences• He talked to people and preached them

Page 27: Understanding christianity

• Holy book of Jews is old testament, many wonder why JEWS book is in BIBLE

• As Jesus was born there He explained the laws to the people through His teaching

• He neither came to establish religion nor to proclaim His greatness, but to make people to understand the trueness of law

Page 28: Understanding christianity

• To make others His disciples means to make others to believe the true nature of law proclaimed by Him

• He explained each and every law• But today many Christians proclaim

Jesus alone and not His teachings

Page 29: Understanding christianity

• The cruel punishment in those days is crucification by Romans, we can see it in “ PASSION OF CHRIST”

• But not even Bible, but also the history says that the punishment is so severe

• But GOD’s love saved us from sin by undergoing this punishment

• Jesus nothing but love of God

Page 30: Understanding christianity
Page 31: Understanding christianity

• As love of God want to forgive us it came to world as Jesus and gave us repentance

• Religions have been misleading us.• But every religion proclaims MESSAIH

Page 32: Understanding christianity

HINDUISM

• Like Judaism it is a strict religion with great laws

• They have four Vedas which are the sacred books

• Puranas, Ithikaas, epics like Mahabarat and Ramayana are written by great people of God to understand the laws of Vedas

Page 33: Understanding christianity

• But people has made each and every character as God

• But according to Vedas all are same , no separate Gods.

• These thins are due to illiteracy• Many are advocating translation of

BAGAVAT GEETHA ,but making up of all to read vedas will remove all queries

Page 34: Understanding christianity

• Gayathri mantra also refers to the birth of a savior by a virgin

• So Hinduism leads us in right path, it also tells that JESUS is none but the love of God…
