1. Fellowship today is being re-defined by many without
Scripture in application to religious things. We shall examine what
we can see in the Scriptures of where to draw the line of
fellowship. We must be willing to stand for the truth about
fellowship and stand in the gap concerning Gods will in the midst
of this crooked and perverse generation.
2. True Fellowship Is According to Christs Authority 1
Corinthians 1:1-10 Fellowship is founded upon the Holy Spirits
revelation in the inspired Scriptures.2 Pet.1:20-21 They enjoyed a
co-participation in spiritually related and God authorized things.
Acts 2:42; John 14:26; 16:13; 1 Cor. 2:12-14; Col. 3:17 Fellowship
is not merely a social club. Rom. 14:17 Notice the spiritual things
listed in Acts 2:42. --They continued steadfastly in the apostles
teaching and fellowship, breaking of bread, prayers 3. The Problem
Arises When People Dont Want The Truth! People who want to
fellowship error (sin) say Marriage Can Be: If alien spouse
departs, just marry again? 1 Corinthians 7:10-16; cf. Romans 7:1-3
If your mate departs you can remarry for any reason? Mt. 19:9, 6
Guilty party can remarry too? Mt.19:9 4. People who want to
fellowship error say Morals Dont Matter: Social drinking? 1 Pet.

13 Avoid Modern Fellowship Menaces 9. Conclusion: When we look at
Gods word its easy to see those whom we should and should not
fellowship. Fellowship with God can be lost if we fail to
fellowship ourselves in Gods truth. Let us always strive to have
this fellowship that God teaches us to have. 1 Corinthians
