There are many ways people pray the rosary. The majority contemplate on the

mysteries of Christ’s death and resurrection. However, we could also dedicate each decade to a specific

intention.

Page 2: The rosary

For example, the first decade could be for peace in the

world, the second for peace in the country, the third for peace in the workplace, the fourth for peace in the home and the fifth for peace within ourselves.

Page 3: The rosary

Another example is that we could pray for ourselves:

the first decade could be to have the virtue of faith,

the second to have the virtue of hope, the third to have charity, the fourth to deepen our devotion to our Mother

Mary and the fifth to experience eternal happiness.

Remembering that Luke 10:27 states‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and

with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind';

and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself‘, here is yet another way to pray the rosary.

Let us pray for all those who believe in God. We pray for the intentions of the Pope, our Bishops, priests and religious. We remember people of different religions who believe in the existence of God.

Let us pray for all those who are good to us. They value our friendship and give us a helping hand whenever we are in need. We thank the Lord for them and ask Him to bless them for their kindness, goodness and charity.

Let us pray for all those whom we do not get along with for one reason or another. We ask the Lord to bless these relationships.

Let us pray for all those whom we have authority over, not only at our workplace but also at home and in our parish organisations. May we always treat them with humility and value them as persons.

Let us remember that we are God’s temples. We pray for our personal intentions and ask the Lord to always take care of us.
