Is there anything scientific about spirituality ?

All of Spirituality is Scientific and in all science you can see spirituality –They are interchangeable terms . Modern Scientific temper is also the same as the basis for spirituality

Science and spirituality seek the same goal – The Pursuit of truth
Scientific method refers to bodies of techniques for investigating phenomena, acquiring new knowledge, or correcting and integrating previous knowledge. To be termed scientific, a method of inquiry must be based on gathering observable, empirical and measurable evidence subject to specific principles of reasoning.
Aum = The one who pervades everything – knowledge/illuminationbhoor = embodiment of vital spiritual energy(pran) ;bhuwah = destroyer of sufferings ;swaha = embodiment of happiness ; (explain the phenomenon of life)tat = that ; (shows spirit of inquiry)savitur = bright like sun ; (observable source of light)varenyam = best choicest ; ( is emperical)bhargo = destroyer of sins ; (measurable evidence)devasya = divine ; these first nine words describe the glory of Goddheemahi = may imbibe ; pertains to meditationdhiyo = intellect ; yo = who ;naha = our ;prachodayat = may inspire! (Belief that sun can destroy sins is based on reasoning ! )
Why we confuse spirituality to miracles and Science to reality ?
If we define a "miracle" simply as an event which violates at least one
law of nature,
-- do “miracles” really happens or our present understanding
of laws of nature reaches it’s limit?
Sri Ram Sharma Acharya: “ Everything that looks “Miracle-like” is
governed by higher order subtle laws of nature which are not known to
ordinary persons”.
Vivekananda: “Just as the law of gravitation existed before its
discovery, and will exist even if entire humanity would forget it, so is it
with the laws that govern the spiritual world”

Science and spirituality are two sides of same coin : “Vasudeva Kutmbakam”
Thanks to the Digital revolution, emerging social
networking such as Twitter, Linkedin, facebook etc we can
say what our seers said and conceived and was thought as
a spiritual concept today is totally scientific
SAYANA WAS THE GREAT 14TH CENTURY COMMENTATOR OF THE VEDAS. IN SAYANA’S TIME, YOJANA = ~14.5 KM (AS GIVEN IN THE ARTHASHASTRA), AND A
NIMESA = 16/75TH OF A SECOND. I.E. 31929 KMS IN 0.10666 SECS
THIS TAKES US TO 299,334 KM/S, WHICH IS A MERE 0.15% AWAY FROM THE ACCEPTED VELOCITY OF LIGHT (299,792 KM/S). EVEN A DIFFERENT VALUE FOR THE YOJANA WOULD REMAIN OF THE SAME ORDER.

charging drinking water in sunlight for cure of various diseases.
• In his lecture series: Karya Karta Margdarshika -Navadha Bhakti ( lectures
given in 1998), Adarniya Dr. Saheb mentioned that Pujya gurudev also
lived on sunlight during his Sukhmikaran Sadhna.
• There are few Gayatri Pariwar sadhaks ( including one in Vadodara) who
lives on very little food.
SUNGAZING
• HRM lives on Sunlight without any solid food for past 10
years.
• His claims of extended fasts have been verified by medical
teams in India and US.
• He preaches a very simple to practice method of directly
looking at sun in the early morning or late evening at no
charge and gives talks upon invitations. .

What are our promises to ourselves, family, work and the world ?
What actions are we taking to the promises we have made ?
Are we aligned in life ?

1. Pt Devinarayan of Prayag was deep devotee of gayatri. He was married and his wife was very understanding but for long time they had no kids. When his wife completed 1.25 Lakh gayatri jap , she was blessed with son.
2. Pt Rakshapal of Indore , said a couple had lot of fights between them. For a week they were advised to drink water which was purified by gayatri mantra . In few weeks they were able to resolve their differences and understand each other better
3. Nephew of Prayag Univ Prof Kshetrachandra was stressed about paper on logic which he felt he would fail. Prof encouraged him and said to write exam in positive frame of mind. While his nephew wrote exam , prof started doing gayatri jap. Later his nephew came and reported that he felt he is being inspired to write and wrote his paper very fluently

4. Guru of Swami Dayanand,founder of Arya Samaj, Sri Swami Virajanand Saraswati did gayatri penance for three years near ganges. His entire body emitted radiance and he was full of immense strength
5. Pandit Harrai of Jaipur due to Gayatri jap had estimated and learnt about his death in advance. He called everyone and gave many sermons and while taking name of mother gayatri immersed into her lap.
