The Perspective: We Are Servants

• It’s about God, not us– I Corinthians 1:17– II Corinthians 3:5-9– Luke 10:16

• Adopt the Master’s view of the lost

The Method: Relationships

• Find common ground– Romans 3:23-24– 1 Corinthians 9:19-23

• Meet the lost where they are– “Go!” (Matt. 28:19, Mark 16:15)– Romans 10:13-17

• God’s goal: everyone (2 Peter 3:9)• We must always be ready (Col. 4:5-6)

The Results: God’s Glory, Our Purpose

• We will see God glorified, either in others’ obedience or ours– Acts 2:41-47– God gets the credit!

• We gain confidence in our role as evangelists– 2 Timothy 4:1-5– Acts 8:4-8, 40
