GLOBAL IMPACT

As a church, our main support is for 3 individuals/ organisations. This covers the following areas: -

*Persecuted Christians

*Bible translation work

*Poverty/ development/ disaster work

The persecution facing Christians is the largest human rights violation issue in today’s world.

According to the World Evangelical Alliance over 200 million Christians in at least 60 countries are denied fundamental human rights because of their faith.

We help support persecuted Christians and their Families through the work of

The church, and individuals, give regularly to this work. As well as this, ACF contributed to the appeal for Christians in Orissa who were/are suffering greatly for their faith.

WHY SHOULD THEY BE SECRET?

Calling for an end to the ‘Islamic Apostacy Law’ where a Muslim who professes faith in Christ may face the death penalty in certain countries.

Worldwide over 300 million people do not have access to God’s written word in their own ‘heart’ language.

2479 languages have scripture – 451 of these only have a complete bible. That leaves over 2200...

We support Beata Wozna who works with the Seimat people in Papua New Guinea – writing their language for the first time.

As well as financial and prayer support, we regularly send medication to one of the local men who helps in thetranslation work.
