The main changes of this century were: *Political parliaments
arose. *The progress of industrialisation. *There were changes in
the organisation of society.
3. POLITICAL PARLIAMENTS AROSE
The power of the monarchs was reduced. All thepolitical
decisions were made by the electedrepresetatives of the people in
parlaiment. In some countries the monarchies were replacedby
republics.
4. THE PROGRESS OF INDUSTRIALISATION
Large factories with lots of workers instead of small artisan
workshops arose.
5. THERE WERE CHANGES IN THE ORGANISATION OF SOCIETY
There were upper classes and lower classes. The upper classes
were made up of factory owners and large landowners. The lower
classes were made up of farmers and factory workers.
