Abstract Run My Route Inc. partnered with Successive Software to create a web based and mobile based application for the real time use to equip the health enthusiasts monitor their day to day run routines using maps.

The primary focus of this application is to help users chalk out a plan and identify the route in the maps to enhance their exercise routine. It provides features like exercise logs, calorie burnt monitoring features to make an exercise routine more produc-tive.

The ClientRun My Route Inc. is a Canada based company working towards creating web based and mobile based applications. Run My Route is created to be a personal online trainer and running route map-ping tool. Run My Route is for runners and joggers, who want to stay healthy, lose weight or train more effectively.

Today people are struggling with their sedentary lifestyle which has resulted into many health issues in their day to day lives. Run My Route wanted to combine today’s technology and values of a healthy lifestyle to create an application that could enable the users to motivate themselves to exercise. It was important to create a system where users could access an application that could enhance their exercise regime and bring more creativity to the otherwise monotonous routine.

Our Solution

Successive Software provided an innovative and easy to use appli-cation design in the mobile/web application developed. The appli-cation was provided with both online and offline routes in the map to create flexibility of use to the users. The application was initially developed to be web based for users to track existing routes created by the users, customize routes on the map for per-sonal use and create training logs for future reference.

The users could use features like spotting blogs to get greater clarity and information on health related subjects. Tips and tricks to train effectively are provided to the users.

This application was then mapped on the Windows, iPhone and Android platforms to provide mobile use for the health enthusiasts. Additional features that calorie count to weight management were incorporated in the application to further improve on the user experience.
