Most of the people who have answered my questionnaire are of the female gender so therefore I will aim my magazine mainly towards women but make sure that the male gender still want to read the magazine that I will create. I will use colours that will relate to my audience and will look sophisticated and modern . Most of the percentage of the people that answered my questionnaire were female , this means I will have to direct my magazine mainly towards the female gender without excluding male interests.

The age range of my answers seemed to be between 16 and 18, there are a couple of answers that were done as a joke so I will exclude those and focus on the others. The age range for my magazine will be for older teenagers as the majority of people who answered my questionnaire were in that age range. I want to make sure that my magazine has a modern look to it that will link to the ages of my target audience.

How old are you?

The main answers that I received were either pop or Indi which fits in with the ideas I have for my magazine. I want to do a pop/Indi magazine so I was pleased with my results as they allow me to create the magazine I want to. In order to create a pop magazine I will use a mixture of content that is linked to the pop world. Pop/indi are very popular with todays teens so as I plan to do a pop magazine I was very glad with my results and most people listen to pop/indi music so I may have to incorporate indi into my magazine.

For this question most of my answers were similar, nearly everybody said that the cover was what attracts them to a magazine. Therefore I will have to make sure that my cover is good enough to attract the attention of my readers. I will do this by having a creative cover that has a modern but sophisticated look to it.

Most of the answers that I received were either billboard or nme or Q. Therefore I will aim for my magazine to have similar characteristics as these magazine whilst still managing to be completely different. I want to create an original magazine that is something that has never been done before. I hope to do this by using my research to help me. Most of the people that answered my questionnaire are fully aware of Billboard magazine, I like the different style that Billboard has and will draw in inspiration from past issues to give me ideas for my magazine.

Most of the people that answered my questionnaire have never subscribed to a music magazine, whether or not to include a subscribe option is still something I will have to think about. As if I do decide to include a subscribe section it will have to go on my contents page at the bottom. I will most likely include a subscribe section on the bottom or maybe further into my magazine.

Most of the results for this question revolved around either interviews or gossip articles. Therefore I will include these in my magazine to get the attention of the readers. On my double page spread I will use the interview style article, I will ask interesting questions that are creative and will interest the readers.

In question eight nearly everyone said yes to the artist influencing their choice to buy a magazine therefore I will have to use an artist that interests the readers. I will use someone who looks like a famous celebrity for my cover. I will try to use a genre or artist that my readers will be interested in and will want to read about, I will use images that are sophisticated and edited to have the desired effect I want for my magazine.

The price range that most people are willing to pay is £1.51 to £3.00. Therefore I will price my magazine at £2.50, this is comfortably in the middle. I want my magazine to look expensive without the price therefore I will have my magazine priced at £2.50 which I feel is suitably in the middle.

Most people prefer to read an actual magazine instead of one that you would find online, I will make mine both a hard copy but have a link to the online version for those few who do like to read an online version, this way I will cater to both demographics.
