Making the radio trailer music

First I selected an apple loop that I thought would make a nice bass to play as the background song. I dragged it onto the work area and spread it across so it was just longer than the voice over so it would play through out the trailer

I added some guitar and piano loops over the bass to make the music unique and my own. I found the three sounds above worked well together. The use of bass, similar to mainstream music will attract the attention of our target audience whilst the soft and serious sounds reflect the tone of our documentary.

I was able to use the above button to adjust the sound levels and clicking on a pint on the yellow line allows me to change the volume of the sound throughout the trailer. I was able to make the song slightly louder over the voice over as well as bringing down the volume for audio clips from the documentary that are featured in the documentary.

Here I have faded out the music after the voice over at the end of the trailer
