Jay-z is a artist who has been a major aspect of Hip Hop and the Rap community for the last 20 years, a majority of his fan can range from 13-50 years of age.

He is able to  keep in touch with his fans throughout varies social media outlets, for his younger audience his able to connect through twitter and instagram 

While some of his older audience is able to see upcoming events and other news through radio interviews, facebook and myspace

Jay-z is not that effective through twitter to connect with his fans. His last post was on July 8th 2013

Not really a interactive person with his fans Does he just use Twitter for promotion instead of

building a connection with his fanbase

Although he does not rely on Twitter to connect with his fans it does seem that he uses Instagram more frequently 

in the last month alone he has posted 14 new photos on his page

which allows his fan to interact with what he is doing, and get a little insight to his day to day life

hanging out with different celebrities

and some of the new magazines that he is currently in so his fans can get a new article or interview with the Rap star

This is the Social Media that Jay Z seems to use to promote his Business and interact with Fans

It is a place where the average fan is able to see what Jay Z is doing and get a little insight into the Man not the Celebrity

Here Jay Z frequently post almost Daily to his Fans

He reveals New Artist that he signs to his label Roc Nation

He also Reveals new Sports Athletes that he signs to his new Sports Agency Roc Nation Sports (including Robinson Cano, Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz)

He also post what Tv Shows he likes, Cologne, Clothing Brand etc

Virtual Meets the Physical World

Jay -z is effectively able to balance his Physical and Virtual Space to Promote and interact with his Fans

He is able to Connect to them virtual by Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc

But he is also able to promote through billboards, local appearance on radio shows, Tv interviews and so forth

If you Are a Fan of Jay-z you are able to obtain the information need to get new merchandise, such as tickets, fan gear and concert information

Jay-z Consistent?

I feel that Jay-Z is not fully involved in his social media campaign which should be the focus point for his business.

He is a busy person running multiple worldwide organizations, but i feel that he need to focus more on Twitter than anything else

Kids today are constantly connected to their cellular phones and this is the best way to get your information right to them where they are able to get it almost instantly

Instead of posting on Facebook which seems to be slowing rather than gaining speed in the virtual space
