LISTENLISTENLISTEN

Listen to your client’s. Find out who they are, and what their goals are. First get a feel for what they like, then find out who their perfect client would be. Their age, gender, and interests, this will help you find a appropriate style.

Time for a BrainstormBrainstorming can be done many different ways. I usually use a technique

called mind mapping. Here is an example. I start by writing out a few words that come to mind when thinking about the company and their goals. I will

show an example from naming an designing our own company logo. I wanted my company to be full of clean and crisp designs. Designs that are visually

appealing and beautiful. Our company creates designs in a variety of mediums.

Research is fun

For me this usually means surfing the web. I also look for things all around me. Using the mind mapping I “Google” different words, just looking for ideas. It is easy to use too much time on the web, so watch your time. I start drawing simple sketches as I’m surfing.

Present the best ideasDepending on your client this may already be narrowed down to one design or you may need many different ones. Present your

work knowing why you chose certain ideas, colors, and concepts. You are showing why this is the best design for their company.
