BBB Rating

MobileHelp has been an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau since 2009 and holds an “A” rating. They have had 6 complaints filed against them in the past three years regarding some product issues and an advertising complaint, but they have responded to all of the complaints and resolved them in a timely manner. Other reasons for their high rating include their length of time in business and the sufficient background information that the BBB has on the company.

Who Are Their Customers

Their customers include the children of senior citizens who are looking to provide greater safety and well-being to their aging parents as well as the senior citizen customer who wants to continue to enjoy as much independence as possible. They want those customers to not have to worry about what will happen if/when they injure themselves.

How Their Customers Rate Them

Though TheBestCompanys.com doesn’t yet have an overall customer rating for this company, MobileHelp has a plethora of customer testimonials available on their website. Of course any company is going to post the positive feedback they’re received as opposed to the negative, but MobileHelp does seem to have a solid reputation for good products and services as their BBB rating and testimonials help to show.

What Makes Them Stand Out?

MobileHelp stands out as the very first Mobile Medical Alert System provider to create a medical alert system that comes with a GPS so that customers can travel and still have the ability to reach the Monitoring Center even if they’re far from home. The fact that they post profiles on their executive team members helps to put faces to those who are running the company and gives customers a better sense of why they can trust MobileHelp with their business as well as their well-being.

Social Media Presence

MobileHelp has a social media presence on Facebook as well as Twitter and they are regularly active on both. They have several hundred followers on both social media platforms, not a ton, but a significant amount considering their audience is a group of people who are probably least likely to be heavily engaged in social media in any form.

Ranking With TBC

TheBestCompanys.com ranks MobileHelp as a 7.2 out of 10 for their length of time as a reputable company, their unique services in the industry and their 24/7/365 customer service care center for their clients. Their relatively high rating is also due to a reasonable price for their products and services, a free activation fee, no contract requirement, and 1 year warranty.

Potential Negatives

Some potential negatives for many prospective customers include MobileHelps ability to only serve those who reside in areas that are covered by the AT&T network. AT&T’s coverage is quite broad but there are some who live out of range and won’t be able to benefit from MobileHelp services in their area. “False Alarms” (if the button is pushed accidentally and emergency help is sent nonetheless) will result in charges that clients are expected to pay. That’s something to keep in mind when considering MobileHelp as a service provider.
