HTC wants to grow in Railway and Rolling stock market!

…and invested in a second production plant in Italy

HTC has been able to successfully expand the international commercialization of its products and services for Railway and Rolling stock market over the last years. The positive results in Italy served as a good base and enabled the company to further grow its sales also in others European countries, by consistently implementing strict quality and branding policies. At the same time HTC continuously and successfully expanded and diversified its product portfolio, adding heaters, doors opening/closure systems, cables assembly inside trains, cables for braking systems, control unit cabinets, and new ethernet cat.7 cables to its product range, next to its historical production of cables assembly for Rolling stock market and infrastructure cables for signals and stations. From 2013 to 2016 HTC already enhanced its existing headquarter in Leinì, Turin area, by setting up an administration building and by increasing production capacities. Supported by the overall belief in Italy as a business location, the company chose an area of 4.000m² in close proximity to the existing HTC factory in Leinì (Turin) as a site for the new building. The available plot surfaces and the future synergies between the two factories were of crucial importance for this decision. The overall required investments are estimated at 1 million Euros. The new factory created, in a preliminary step, 20 to 30 new jobs, thus increasing the total number of TK Group employees to 350. “HTC is growing quickly in Railway and Rolling stock market, our target is to become one of the most important companies in Italy and Europe in this field. During last years we hired some new very smart people creating a great team and the good results tell us that it is the right strategy to follow. This is the reason why we decided to invest in this new plant, creating up to 50 new jobs,”, says the CEO of HTC Gianluca Garaffi. The construction has been completed and the production lines are ready. HTC has already planned a gradual implementation of the new production facility for the first quarter of 2017.
