Student Council Elections

Elections for Student council will be held on Friday in all Arkansas History classes. Candidates for officer will give speech over closed

circuit tv on Thursday at the beginning of 3rd hour.

Lunch Menu• Monday: Corn dog, French fries, apple

wedges and fruit juice.• Tuesday: Macaroni & cheese, chicken

patty, green beans, roll and mixed fruit.• Wednesday: Beef Nachos, salsa,

peppers, cheese sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, oranges and fruit juice.

• Thursday: Chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes, carrots, hot roll and peaches.

• Friday: Pizza burger, garden salad, carrots, applesauce and fruit juice.

Join Mrs. Burnett (Room 311) after school next Tuesday (September

17th)! Please plan on staying

from 3:15-4:00pm!

The Van Buren High School bowling team will begin practice

the week of September 23rd.  Practices will be Mondays and

Tuesdays.  Students will be picked up from Coleman around 4:00 and transported by bus to

the practice location.  There is no cost to attend.  All students are

welcome until cuts are made after official tryouts in early October.

Partner’s Club

• What? A group of students who partner with students who participate in Special Olympics to assist and develop relationships that can change lives.

• How? Applications available 9/6 and accepted through 9/18.

• Who? Partner’s must keep a 3.0 GPA, NO conduct referrals and parent/teacher recommended.

• When? Briefly meet with Ms. Dollard during STAR on 9/13
